SoZu Quartet
On 21.02.2026, the stage of In the Mood will be a space for a meeting between modern jazz, original music and live improvisation, inspired by the connection between Zurich and Sofia.
SoZu Quartet is a formation that brings together different musical paths and individual voices, united by the search for their own sound and spontaneous interaction on stage:
Evgeny Shishenkov – keyboards
Stanislaw Sandronov – bass guitar (a musician from Zurich with many years of experience in various international and original projects)
Vilizar Gichev – guitar
Teodor Toshkov – drums
The concert program includes original compositions built on a contemporary jazz language, as well as jazz standards, refracted through the quartet's personal style.
The music of SoZu Quartet is dynamic and open – a dialogue between harmony and rhythm, between structure and freedom, created in the moment and shared with the audience.

After two years in Sofia, composer and musician Evgeny Shishenkov returns with an original concert, where the classical school, jazz and his personal musical path meet.
Educated in the classical tradition in Nizhny Novgorod and with a master's degree from NBU, Shishenkov presents original music and jazz standards - intimate, live and with space for improvisation.
